Hello, my name is Paul Cryan I have been in the photography business for 48 years. I am now photographing second and third generations of the same family. It is very rewarding to have such a loyal customer base and to hear such wonderful comments about my work. I have become very well known for the black and white photos of children that I take. I offer quality color or black and white prints. I use minimal muted backgrounds in order to emphasize the importance of the subject. Unlike many school photographers, my approach is to take the time to put the children at ease and to try to capture natural expressions and gestures using puppets and jokes. My approach and motivation are entirely different. Over the past forty years I have built a business based upon specialization in the very narrow field of children’s photography. I try my best to use all of my past experience in working with children and my photography knowledge to get the best photo of each child. Photos of your children, which genuinely capture their expressions and personalities, will be treasured. I am adept at putting children at ease during their photo sessions with comedic banter and an occasional rubber chicken. I particularly enjoy working with children and have years of experience in getting even the most obstinate two year old to crack a smile. When you receive your photos, I hope you will be pleased. DIana Steinmann
Diana Steinmann met Paul as a Preschool Teacher when he came to photograph the school she teaches at. She has been working with Paul for over 7 years now in addition to Preschool teaching. She also is a Mother of 2 girls and 2 pets. She loves children, nature and photography. She had stepped in during COVID-19 to help out taking photographs while Paul was unable. The results have been wonderful and Paul has since made her his Associate Photographer. She is available for photos on Saturdays in the Studio.
